Wanderlust is being homesick for a place you’ve never been to.

Q&A

Wanderlust:

For as long as she can remember, Anja had always wanted to travel. This intense desire saw her pack her bags after finishing school and move to New Zealand for a year. Another stint followed suit in Ecuador on a semester studying tourism. And ever since the travel bug has brought her all over the world.
The fascination with foreign cultures was to remain an itch that never left prompting her to reenter the travel sphere and to become part of the PRANA family.
Anja had left the travel trade a couple of years ago to work as a professional pastry chef, a calling also very dear to her heart.
Being part of the team brings her immense happiness and sense of belonging. It allows her to access the PRANA energy and to give vent to creative and beautiful texts.

A place she longs after:

High on her list of places to see is the land of the thunder dragon, the happiest nation in the world, Bhutan. She daydreams about wandering through deep forests, hiking over high mountains and peering into secluded temples. To not see a single human soul, to be absolutely far from the madding crowd is for Anja "pure luxury".

Culinary weakness:

For the total foodie that she is this comes as a most difficult question. An original Indonesian ‘Nasi Goreng’ or a spicy ‘Thai curry’ if one has to really choose. Otherwise she is also pretty happy sitting on plastic chairs and eating freshly cooked street food.

Unforgettable experience:

Watching the sun dip over the horizon from Bali's beautiful Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple to the sounds of the traditional ‘Kecak’ dance – a guaranteed goose bump experience.
